What if you woke up and your life was perfect?

Lexi wakes up in hospital, thinking she’s twenty-five with crooked teeth and a disastrous love life. But, to her disbelief, she learns it’s three years later – she’s a super-toned twenty-eight-year-old, her teeth are straight, she’s the boss of her department – and she’s married! To a good-looking millionaire!

She can’t believe her luck – especially when she sees her stunning new loft apartment. And she’ll definitely have a fantastic marriage once she gets to know her husband again. He’s drawn up a ‘marriage manual’ which should help.

But soon she realizes her perfect life isn’t all it seems. Her old colleagues hate her. A rival is after her job. Then a dishevelled, sexy guy turns up…and lands a new bombshell.

What the **** happened to her? Will she ever remember? And what will happen if she does?

Just imagine, you wake up in a hospital bed, and everything you remember has changed? You look fabulous with a super toned body, have a career where you are the head of your department and you are married to a very good looking millionaire? You are in your dream world where everything is perfect. What would you do?

This is what happens with Lexi Smart. She wakes up in a hospital bed, finds her appearance is not what she looked like, makes three times as much as she used to and has a very loving and handsome husband who is a millionaire. She has met with an accident and the last three years has been wiped out of her memory. She has no memory of how she has landed up her, in this perfect life. She feels like Cinderella, much luckier than Cinderella.

Lexi decides to re-discover herself. She plays along in the hope that some spark might ignite her memory. She joins her gorgeous husband to his home. She even decides to visit her office, in the hope that she might meet her old friends who can help her recover her memory. She just can’t understand why she’s no longer tight with the girls at work that she used to always hang out with. She even meets a man that seems to know her more than he should and before long, the sparks begin to fly!

Here the mystery is the discovery of the series of events that have brought such tremendous change is Lexi. The events that turned her from an average easy going girl to a very ambitious career oriented business woman. Her old colleagues hate her and call her a cobra and a bitch boss from hell. Then there is one colleague who is very pleased that she has lost her memory. He wants to grab this opportunity. What Lexi thought as her perfect life is not perfect.

This was an enjoyable story about a young woman trying to piece together her life after a car accident causes her to suffer from amnesia. She can’t remember the last three years of her life and the drastic changes she underwent to go from a snaggletooth bumbler to a high-styled corporate bigwig married to a millionaire. I loved the writing. It’s hilarious and funny at places. And imagine you have been given a marriage manual by your husband to trigger your memory. Doesn’t it sound funny. It is like you have got some new gadget home and you are referring a manual on how to operate it. I truly enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading others that she has written.

So happy that you were able to really enjoy this one! I can’t wait to read it for myself now, seeing as it is just there waiting for me. I love the sound of this girl who wakes up in the ideal life. And even though she could carry on living with everything she could dream for, she still wants to know about her old life. Good on her ❤
